Timeless Designs is a one-person carpentry and remodeling business in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This site collects very little, sells nothing, and runs no advertising trackers. What follows is the whole picture in plain language.

What the contact form collects

The contact form asks for a name, an email address, an optional phone number, and a description of the project. That information is used to answer the inquiry and to talk through the work. Nothing else.

Submissions are not saved to a database on this site. They arrive as email and stay in that inbox.

What the site records on its own

Page views are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and reports totals rather than individuals. No cookies are set by this site, and there is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard server logs, which include visitor IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Because the browser fetches them directly, Google receives the visitor’s IP address as part of that request.

Inquiries that arrive through Thumbtack

Timeless Designs also takes work through Thumbtack. When someone requests a quote there, Thumbtack sends the details of that request, including the customer’s name, phone number, and description of the job. Those details are forwarded to email and used only to respond to the request. Thumbtack’s own privacy policy governs what happens on their platform.

Who else sees this information

Three service providers, each doing one job: Cloudflare hosts the site, Resend delivers the email that the contact form generates, and Google provides the typefaces and the email inbox itself.

Nothing is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers or data brokers. There is no mailing list.

How long it is kept

Inquiry emails are kept while a project is active and for a reasonable period afterward, so that questions about past work can be answered. Anything that never turns into a project is deleted once it is clearly not going anywhere.

Asking for a copy or a deletion

Email daniel@makehometimeless.com to see what is on file, to correct it, or to have it deleted. No particular form of words is needed, and there is no charge. Requests are handled promptly.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with consumer privacy laws have these rights by statute. They are extended to everyone here regardless of where they live.

Children

This site is meant for adults hiring a carpenter. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
